Getting Started

Kinecto is an AI-powered service that calls your elderly loved ones on a schedule you set. During calls, Kinecto shares updates you've written about your life, asks thoughtful questions, and has warm conversations. After each call, you receive a summary of how the conversation went, including mood indicators and topics discussed.

No. Kinecto calls your parent on their regular phone, landline or mobile. They just answer the phone like any other call. No apps, no internet, no setup needed on their end.

Sign up at app.kinecto.ai, add your elderly loved one's name and phone number, set a call schedule (days and times that work best for them), and optionally write some updates about your life for Kinecto to share. Kinecto will start calling at the scheduled times. Everything is managed from the Kinecto app.

About the Calls

Kinecto shares updates you've written about your family, asks about your parent's day, reminisces about memories, and has natural conversations tailored to your parent's interests. Over time, Kinecto remembers previous conversations and builds a deeper relationship.

Calls typically last 5 to 15 minutes, depending on how engaged your parent is. Kinecto follows their lead. If they want to chat longer, it continues. If they're brief, it wraps up naturally. Your parent can also end the call at any time.

Kinecto asks for your parent's consent during the first call, and they can say "stop calling" at any time to pause the service. You'll be notified so you can discuss it together. Their comfort always comes first.

No, and it's not meant to. Kinecto fills the gaps between your calls. When you're too busy to call this week, your parents still hear about your life and have someone to talk to. You still call when you can, and those calls are often richer because they're already caught up on your news.

Features

After every call, you receive a detailed summary via email and push notification: what your parent talked about, how they seemed emotionally, topics they enjoyed, and anything that might need your attention. You can also view all summaries in the app by tapping on your loved one's profile and browsing the Calls tab. Over time, you can see patterns in their wellbeing through the mood trend chart on the Overview tab.

Kinecto identifies special moments during calls, like stories from the past, moments of laughter, and life wisdom, then saves audio highlights you can listen to. It's like a growing audio scrapbook of your parent's stories and personality. You can find them in the app under your loved one's Memories tab, or browse all memories from the Memories section in the main navigation.

Kinecto monitors conversational cues across calls to detect signs of loneliness or changes in mood. If patterns suggest your parent may be feeling isolated, you'll receive an alert via email and push notification so you can check in or adjust the call schedule. You can view the loneliness trend and connection score on your loved one's Overview tab in the app.

Yes! You can write updates in the app (news about your kids, work milestones, travel plans) and even attach photos. Kinecto weaves these into conversations naturally, so your parent stays connected to your life even between your direct calls. To add updates, tap the Updates section from the home screen or from your loved one's profile.

Billing & Plans

Every account starts with a free 14-day trial. Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app. Go to Settings → Subscription to manage or cancel your plan. Your service continues until the end of the current billing period, and no further charges are made.

Yes! Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial that includes 3 calls per week, no credit card required. This lets you and your loved one experience Kinecto before committing to a plan.

Privacy & Safety

Yes. We follow HIPAA-compliant practices for handling health-related data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell personal data. Our structured logging system automatically redacts personally identifiable information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Calls are transcribed in real-time for generating summaries and memories. Audio is only stored for Treasured Memories highlights, and you can manage or delete these at any time. Full call audio is not retained.

During the first call, Kinecto asks your loved one for their consent to continue receiving calls. They confirm verbally that they're happy to participate. Consent can be revoked at any time by telling Kinecto "stop calling" during a call, or you can manage it through the app under your loved one's profile settings.

For Senior Living Facilities

Yes! We work with senior living communities to bring Kinecto to their residents. Facility admins get a dedicated dashboard with aggregate wellness insights, amenity and event sentiment feedback, resident management, and the ability to invite families directly by email. You can also share a facility code that families use to link their accounts. Contact business@kinecto.ai or register directly at app.kinecto.ai.

No. Kinecto calls residents directly on their personal phones. Staff time is zero. The facility dashboard provides aggregate insights, amenity and event sentiment feedback, and resident wellness trends without requiring any active management. Facility admins can also send email invites to families, making onboarding simple.

When residents mention facility amenities (dining hall, garden, fitness center, etc.) or events (movie night, bingo, outings) during their calls, Kinecto automatically captures the feedback and sentiment. Facility admins can view aggregate sentiment data on their dashboard to understand which amenities and events residents enjoy most, and where improvements could be made.

Facility admins can invite families by email directly from the Invites section of their dashboard. The family receives an email with a link to create an account with pre-filled details. After signing up and verifying their email, they review and confirm their loved one's information, and the loved one is automatically linked to the facility. This streamlines onboarding compared to sharing a facility code.

Notifications & Security

Kinecto sends both push notifications and email notifications. You'll receive alerts for call summaries, wellbeing concerns, consent changes, and subscription updates. You can control push and email notifications independently in the app under Settings → Notifications.

Yes. Kinecto supports two-factor authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app. You can enable it in the app under Settings → Privacy & Security → Two-Factor Authentication. Once enabled, you'll need both your password and a code from your authenticator app to sign in.

Yes. You can export all of your data from the app under Settings → Privacy & Security → Export My Data. You can also delete your account entirely from the same screen. Account deletion removes all your data, cancels any active subscription, and stops all scheduled calls.

When your 14-day trial ends, scheduled calls will pause until you subscribe to a plan. Your account, loved one profiles, call history, and memories are all preserved. You can subscribe at any time from Settings → Subscription in the app to resume calls. You'll receive a reminder email before your trial expires.

Yes, depending on your plan. The Starter and Essentials plans cover 1 loved one, Plus covers 2, and Family covers up to 4. You can add loved ones from the home screen in the app. Each loved one gets their own call schedule, profile, and conversation history.
